The accident happened on the morning of Sunday, March 1st, 2020, On road number 3 from Tampere to Helsinki near the exit to KEHA I. Two animals (moose or Elk not sure of specie) jumped to cross the road. On the effort to avoid them, I swayed out the road and the car went to the ditch and hit trees.
The laptop was on a passenger seat on top of a backpack, it was running some work-related program, so I was monitoring it.
I suppose during the accident, and opening doors, it must have fallen out of the car, because when the damaged car was pulled out from the ditch, I then saw the laptop on the ground, the damage was from being run over by the towed car. It was broken, screen, circuit, and battery.
I reported the car damage and claim to IF, and I asked about the laptop and a phone which also I could not find after the accident. I was told to file the laptop and phone under my home insurance. So I did that.
I reported about the accident and laptop damage to my workplace and I wrote a report for a claim for our company insurance. I attached the receipt for the company laptop to both reports, IF and Lähitapiola
